A.Hak International B.V., part of the Dutch A. Hak Group, is a successful international contractor, providing services in engineering, construction and maintenance of pipelines and related installations, for the transport and distribution of gases, liquids and telecommunications.
The company’s head office is based in The Netherlands with branch offices and subsidiaries throughout Europe, the Middle East and South America.
For our Middle East operations we are looking for an experienced
Manager Finance and Control
to be based at our Dubai office and reporting to head office management.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Maintenance and further improvement of accountancy- and controlling systems for Dubai office and Middle East projects
- Intensive communication with our project teams and head office management
- Periodical - and ad hoc financial reporting
- Cash management
- Fiscal affairs
- Insurance affairs
- Personnel affairs
- Office management
The ideal candidate
- A relevant bachelor’s- or master’s degree
- At least 3 years relevant experience, preferable in international construction business
- English fluently spoken and written.
- Knowledge of the Arabic- and/or Dutch language would be of advantage
- Willing to travel to our Middle East projects
- Intelligent, ambitious, tenacious, pro-active, communicative, reliable, no-nonsense
